Job Description

Job Title: Staffing Coordinator
Department: Nursing - Long Term Care 
Location: DeMay Living Center - Newark, New York 
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 

SUMMARY:
The Staffing Coordinator-LTC is responsible for the scheduling of nursing staff within Long Term Care in addition to collaboration with Nursing Leadership to ensure effective coverage on each unit.
Scheduling
Efficient scheduling of nursing staff including Nursing Supervisors, Off Shift Directors, RNs, LPNs, C.N.As, Nursing Assistants and Unit Assistants.
Responsible for the maintenance of an effective time off calendar within KRONOS.
Electronic distribution of daily, after hours and weekend nursing schedules with high degree of accuracy.
