Staff Writer – Graphic Business at Graphic Communications Group LTD

Key Accountabilities

• General reporting on business related events and activities nationwide for both the online portal and the graphic business newspaper

• In depth analysis on issues related to finance, insurance, business and banking

• Conduct interviews on selected business news stories

• Edit business stories prior to submitting, including proofreading when required

• Report on stock exchange activities/money market and the general economic news

• Work in groups on special stories / investigations when required, with one writer taking the lead as necessary

• Mentor juniors and/or interns to assist them in developing their professional skills in reporting

Qualification Required & Experience

• First Degree in Communication/Journalism Studies or related field with 4 years of working experience most of which should have been in business reporting OR
