**Backend - Staff Software Engineer** As part of Walmart’s **Stride Transportation Platform team** , you will work with some of the brightest engineers and architects to solve **large-scale, mission-critical transportation challenges** that power Walmart’s global supply chain. We are building next-generation **Transportation Planning, Optimization, Execution, and Yard Automation platforms** that support Walmart’s end-to-end supply chain network. Our systems optimize freight movement across suppliers, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and stores—moving **millions of shipments every year** . By improving transportation forecasting, routing, carrier optimization, and capacity planning, we:
