Staff Software Engineer

**Stryker** is seeking a **Staff Software Engineer** to join our **Endoscopy division.** In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex software systems, including application architecture and product design documentation. You will apply deep expertise across multiple technological domains to evaluate and adopt new technologies and platforms. As a technical leader, you will mentor engineers and collaborate closely with cross‑functional peers to deliver market‑leading software solutions that meet customer and system requirements. You will follow established design practices, including Agile methodologies, and apply sound software engineering principles to ensure products are safe, reliable, and user‑friendly.

**Workplace flexibility** : Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to either San Jose, CA or Flower Mound, TX but is expected to be onsite at the facility multiple times per week.
