Staff Nurse

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the acute stroke team in ward 42.

We are currently seeking nurses who have a keen interest in stroke care and want to challenge their learning in the area of stroke.

Ward 42 is a 24‑bed unit taking patients directly from A&E, MHDU and acute admission ward. The hospital delivers thrombolysis on a twenty‑four seven basis and there is exciting change coming with the development of the national thrombectomy service. The ward has a close working relationship with the multidisciplinary team and provides patient‑centred stroke care.

Role

This is an excellent opportunity for 1st level Registered Nurses interested in developing knowledge and skills in acute stroke nursing. You must have excellent communication skills and team working abilities to work within a fast paced environment.
