Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot database instances.
• Perform root-cause analysis in response to database environment events.
• Identify opportunities for improved system performance and process improvements.
• Perform code reviews, and assist teams across the organization with query optimization.
• Modify and build automated environment installation and setup processes.
• Serve as a SME for specific technical topics and team operations.
• Architect database high availability and database backup and restore processes.
• Review and execute data manipulation scripts created by internal and external team members.
• Build external networks to help accomplish team and company objectives.
• Contribute to other team efforts as needed to support day-to-day database operations.
