Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Washington, DC. This individual will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.



+ Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy of debits and credits

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

+ Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting

+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

+ Assist with financial audits and provide documentation as requested
