Staff Accountant

Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Washington, DC. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close activities.



+ Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy of debits and credits

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies

+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

+ Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies

+ Assist with financial reporting and audit support

+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data

Requirements
