Our team is currently working with multiple clients in the Rochester, NY area who are seeking experienced and motivated Staff Accountants. This is a great opportunity for accounting professionals looking to grow their experience in dynamic environments across a variety of industries.


Job Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire


Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

+ Support preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages

+ Analyze financial data and help identify and resolve discrepancies

+ Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions as needed

+ Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
