Job Description
What you’ll do:
Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Lead, coach and train the Bakery team to ensure a productive, positive and customer-focused environment.
Oversee all department operations including ordering, receiving, inventory management, merchandising and shrink control.
Ensure compliance with Alberta Food Safety regulations, sanitation standards, department cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
Monitor and meet department goals related to sales and margin through efficient planning and execution.
Promote and model safe food handling practices and workplace cleanliness.
Provide training, coaching, and performance management to team members while supporting their development and growth.
Lead annual planning, goal setting, budgeting, and talent management processes.
