Job Description
**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Stainless Steel Tanker Maintenance Technician performs repairs, inspections, and welding on a specialized equipment. The incumbent works on basic electrical components and welding/fabrication to maximize safe and productive operations. The Stainless Steel Tanker Maintenance Technician maintains air, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Performs complex inspections, conducts diagnostic tests, and performs preventative maintenance.
+ Performs complex work on specialized equipment, such as MC -306/406 tank trailers, Aluminum Trainers, and DOT407 and 412 Trailers.
+ Diagnoses and repairs electrical and hydraulic problems on equipment.
+ Performs or assists lower-level employees with installations as scheduled and meets relevant deadlines.
+ Performs complex welding and fabrication on various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
