Job Id: SS106 # of Openings: 1 SS106 Analog Data Conversion Technician ADNET is seeking to hire a technician to work at the NASA Space Science Data Coordinated Archive (NSSDCA) at Goddard Space Flight Center. Duties involve the conversion of analog data (paper documents, microfilm/microfiche, photographic materials) to digital form. These data are scientific in nature and are being converted not only to fulfill requests for conducting research, but also to enhance long-term access to and preservation of the data. Other duties might include handling of already extant digital data (mainly tapes). The work requires specialized software/hardware and is full-time on-site.
