Sr. Planner/Buyer

This position is responsible to coordinate the planning and purchasing of raw material and MRO purchasing for TMM plant.
As well as supporting receiving and scheduling of the front to end operations, which will support aligning and integrating our supply chain process.
- Understand and execute all safety rules and guidelines.
- Use the safety equipment required by the safety policy.
- Monitor purchase orders using the cash report within the ERP system
- Identify cost reduction opportunities by price, usage control, improving process.
Report and file savings on a monthly basis.
- Establish procedures and systems to monitor spending by supplier and commodity.
- Measure, follow up and control supplier purchase order and work with sourcing to reduce supplier past due.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Get quotes and place orders according to purchasing procedures.
