Sr Med Laboratory Scientist - CLEAR Lab - 40 hrs - Days -

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under minimal supervision, performs routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. Responsible for establishing and ensuring standard work with consistent quality and corrective and preventive action as needed. Participates in applied research and development projects to introduce new technology and improved methods.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversees and performs routine and complex chemical, cytologic, hematologic, histologic, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic and/or microbiologic procedures on laboratory specimens, using manual or automated techniques and information systems.
