Eaton's AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Sr.
Manufacturing Engineer.What you'll doPrimary Function:Provide manufacturing technical direction and technical assistance for making new and repair existing Stamping Dies, including process design for manufacturing operations.
The position supports continuous improvement in production while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) and Tijuana Safety culture initiatives.Essential Functions1) Ability to understand cutting, bending, forming, and marking concepts on stamping dies and be able to interact with Stamping Process and Machining Engineers in technical discussions around these processes.2) Ability to determine useful life of dies according to cycles, kind of material and structure of stamping dies.3) Possesses a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance usage.4) Familiarity with New tooling Introduction projec...
