Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a Mainframe Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Java applications that are scalable, reliable, and secure. 
Requirements: 
Expertise in COBOL/DB2/JCL. Candidates should be able to design, code, test, and debug COBOL-DB2 applications. 
Should be able to write complex SQL queries. 
Familiarity with working in z/OS, TSO/ISPF environment. 
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. 
Desirable: 
Experience to IMS database and VSAM. 
Exposure to online transaction processing like CICS or IMS-DC. 
Exposure to tools like SPUFI, File-aid. 
5+ years of experience in mainframe application development. 
Preferred qualifications: 
Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology. 
Advanced English: 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
