Sr. Linux System Engineer

In this role you will work our Global Platform Operations in a team of engineers based in Americas.

Wabtec is looking for a new member to join our Global Platform Operations in a team of engineers based in Americas. Our ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in Linux server environment and specifically with knowledge in Hyper V, VMware, Veeam, Scripting and Automation. The successful candidate will have a track record of partnering with technical teams to achieve continuous improvement across our various compute platforms.

What do we want to know about you?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in an Enterprise scale engineering or relevant discipline.

Advanced understanding of Linux configuration, patching, and security hardening experience.
