Sr. Linux System Administrator/Engineer

Job Description
This role will support a small Linux infrastructure team handling both project-based work and day-to-day BAU operations. The engineer will manage Linux servers across production environments, focusing heavily on patching, security updates, and automation initiatives. You’ll troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across systems (including storage and performance-related problems), support ongoing infrastructure projects, and work closely with internal teams to implement automation using tools like Ansible and Python.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring system health and performance using tools like Datadog and Grafana, responding to escalated support requests, and maintaining overall system stability with a strong sense of urgency. The environment is hands-on and execution-focused, with less emphasis on architecture and more on solving real-time operational issues across the Linux stack.
