The Sr. Fitter is responsible for manufacturing, fitting, and assembling parts and components from detailed drawings or specifications.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Interpret and work from complex blueprints, isometric drawings, and ASME code specifications to fit and assemble pressure vessel components.
Lay out, align, and tack-weld parts using precise measuring tools such as squares, levels, and calipers.
Prepare and fit nozzles, flanges, and other vessel attachments with exact tolerances.
Collaborate closely with welders, inspectors, and engineers to ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII and customer requirements.
