Job Description

Our hospital client west of Ottawa is seeking a part-time Accountant for a two-month contract with the possibility of extension. In this role you will report to the head of finance and perform general accounting duties.
The Accountant’s duties will include:
Performing monthly financial reporting 
Performing bank reconciliations
Preparing and entering monthly journal entries 
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets 
Reconciling deferred grants and donations
Assisting with month-end close
Preparing submissions to provincial and federal stakeholders
Other duties or tasks as assigned
