Sr. Custodian - Floor Care (Night Shift) - 126606

Under supervision of the Custodial Supervisor 1, use manual and powered floor care equipment to clean and maintain hard, resilient, carpeted and specialty floors throughout UC San Diego Recreation facilities including, but not limited to: floors in hallways, lobbies, mechanical spaces, fitness spaces, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, conference rooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums, lounges, common areas, and stairways. Prepare, operate, maintain and clean manual and powered floor care equipment including but not limited to: low and high speed buffers, scrubbers, strippers, polishers, burnishers, carpet extractors and bonnets, blowers, ride on equipment, wet/dry vacuums, automated floor scrubbers and vacuums among others.

Follow established safety procedures and operate floor care equipment in accordance with established guidelines. Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance problems to supervisor. Safely move furniture to prepare floors for cleaning. Remove al...
