Senior Cost Accountant
A client of ours is looking for a Senior Cost Accountant for a contract role to support cost accounting activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for costing, cost analysis, inventory oversight, PPV evaluation, and pricing correction while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting accuracy and drive financial performance.


Responsibilities of Senior Cost Accountant

+ Support month-end close, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and cost-related reporting

+ Perform detailed cost analysis, including review of production variances and gross profit trends

+ Manage and maintain standard costing, including cost rolls and product cost analysis

+ Analyze purchase price variances (PPV), identify root causes, and provide actionable insights
