Sr. Communications Dispatcher (Johns Hopkins Public Safety) - #Staff

Johns Hopkins Public Safety is seeking a **_Sr. Communications Dispatcher_** which supports the Communications Supervisor by providing guidance and direction during their shift to Communication Dispatchers. The Sr. Communications Dispatcher will provide on the job training and support to Communications Dispatchers to ensure emergency and non-emergency calls are handled appropriately and efficiently with great customer service skills. The Sr. Communications Dispatcher will support scheduling; leave approval and staffing issues.

The Sr. Communications Dispatcher will also receive emergency and non-emergency calls for service over telephone and other means. The Sr. Communications Dispatcher will employ appropriate call screening protocols to respond to callers and dispatch to appropriate public safety resources for multiple Johns Hopkins campuses.
