Sr. Audit Accountant

Position Description:

Join a high-impact accounting and consulting team providing mission-critical support to a federal agency. At CGI Federal, we're seeking experienced Senior Accountants who thrive in a collaborative, positive work environment and are eager to contribute to a federal audit and remediation mission.

In this role, you'll apply your deep knowledge of the U.S. Standard General Ledger, Government Accounting Standards, GAAP, and OMB guidance to help the agency strengthen its financial operations. You'll lead root-cause analysis of audit findings, develop and track Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and support the remediation of Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs). This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by directly contributing to the agency's efforts to achieve a clean audit opinion.
