Job Description:

Provide 24x7 production database support (rotational shifts and on-call support).

○ Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Database environments.

○ Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning.

○ Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.

○ Manage database security, user roles, and privileges.

Troubleshoot database-related incidents and resolve within SLA.

○ Support high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and standby databases.

○ Perform regular health checks and preventive maintenance.

○ Participate in DR drills and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

○ Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors.

○ Maintain documentation of configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting steps.
