Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support key accounting operations for a Contract position based in Madison Heights, Michigan. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, managing close activities, and ensuring the integrity of balance sheet and cash accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of general ledger processes, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly close activities by preparing entries, reviewing account activity, and helping ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain the general ledger by recording financial transactions accurately and resolving posting discrepancies.
