Sql Server Database Administrator

Description

New demand for a SQL DBA.

Key Responsibilities

•Configure, manage, and maintain SQL Server environments.

• Design and implementation of new database server instances

• Monitor system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance and availability.

• Support Disaster Recovery tests - Developing and maintaining procedures to ensure that systems can be recovered in the event of a disaster.

• Work on project activities, collaborating with other teams

• Support the business on incident and request resolution.

Essential Criteria

• Extensive experience of Microsoft SQL Server.

• experience with Microsoft Azure.

• experience of database backup and restore procedures.

• A good understanding of Microsoft Server platforms.

• experience of designing technical solutions fit for purpose.

• Problem solving skills to identify root causes and offer solutions.
