**Job Description**

This role involves setting up and operating manual and semi-automatic spot-welding equipment to fuse metal components with precision and consistency. You will work with a variety of welding processes, prepare materials for welding, and apply your knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and geometry to produce high-quality parts in a modern manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic spot-welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as resistance, projection, and capacitor discharge (CD) welding.
+ Prepare all material surfaces to be welded by removing loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, and any foreign matter to ensure proper weld quality.
+ Determine the appropriate equipment settings and spot welding methods for each job, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
