Sports Fields Maintenance

Join the Municipality of Oakville’s seasonal team to help keep community parks and green spaces looking their best. This is an outdoor, hands-on role involving horticulture and general grounds maintenance.

Location: Oakville, ON

Pay: $18.75/hour + 4% vacation pay (paid weekly, every Friday)

Schedule: Full-time, starting September 2nd and running until mid October

Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday-Sunday rotation; 5 shifts/week; if scheduled on a weekend, you’ll receive weekdays off in lieu)

What You’ll Do

– Working in all outdoors in all weather conditions.

– Ensuring the integrity of area sports fields by grass cutting, cleaning and on site washrooms, cleaning bleachers, picking up any garbage on site, landscaping the grounds.

– Standing for long periods of time

– Must be comfortable working outdoors

– Valid G or G2 driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract
