  Job Description: 
 Assisting Lead Pastor 
  This responsibility requires:  
 Preparation and teaching of sermons, as needed to relieve lead pastor and available to deliver a sermon in unforeseen circumstances of lead pastor. 
 Officiating weddings, funerals, baptisms, and dedications as needed to support Lead Pastor. 
 Assist in pre-marriage counseling when required by Lead Pastor. 
 Along with the responsibilities listed above, this position will work closely with the Lead Pastor to advance spiritual development among teams (i.e., small groups and men’s/women’s ministries) and throughout the church community. 
  Other responsibilities : 
 Attend weekly all-staff meetings 
 Attend and contribute to bi-monthly leadership team meetings
