Under the direction of a pharmacist, the Specialty Pharmacy Technician performs prescription order entry and filling of specialty and infusion prescriptions. Manages ongoing specialty patient caseloads using organizational and follow up skills. Communicates and follows up with patients, referral sources and payers. Obtains insurance authorization as required. Prepares sterile medications using aseptic technique. Utilizes the pharmacy computer system. Maintains accurate documentat...Ready to Apply?
