Overview Bell Textron Canada Ltd. is seeking a Software Specialist (SWS) to support Government of Canada programs. The CH146 Griffon helicopter program is undergoing a modernization effort to upgrade avionics, engines, cockpit displays, and sensor systems to meet civil navigation requirements and remain tactically viable through 2035. The role supports the Integrated Logistics Support Manager and collaborates with BTCL teams and National Defence organizations to maintain software configuration for in-flight and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Software Configuration Management (SCM): develop, implement, and maintain SCM processes for all software components used in aircraft and ground support systems.

Establish and manage version control systems to track changes, revisions, and updates to software.

Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all software configurations.
