Specialist Consultant - Surgery

• Permanent 1.0 FTE, ongoing contract or fixed-term 1-2 years available

Our client's general surgery department is hiring a full-time general surgeon with breast surgery specialty interest, either ongoing or with the possibility for fixed-term appointment per applicant preference.

Our clients are a collaborative, collegial department of 3 full-time and 2 part-time surgeons, job-sized for 5 FTE overall, supported by one non-training registrar and 2 house officers. Despite our small size, we are well-supported regionally and maintain a robust practice of:

• Breast cancer surgery: including Savi scout wireless localization, ICG plus standard isotope sentinel lymph node biopsy with Arthrex Exo Scope visualisation system, Faxitron intraoperative specimen XR

• Upper and lower endoscopy: including Bowel Screening, advanced polypectomy, and dilation, with dedicated endoscopy suite business case approved and expected completion 2028<...
