Specialist Cardiac Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs/replacements, and other complex interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care specialists
• Participate actively in clinical research and teaching initiatives within the university healthcare setting
• Provide expert preoperative and postoperative management and follow-up care
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative surgical techniques and protocols
• Mentor and train surgical residents and fellows to foster the next generation of cardiac surgeons
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements
