**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

The Specialist Aeromedical Communications will coordinate and facilitate the efficient and timely air and ground transfers to and from entities within the Penn State Health system. The Specialist will maintain communication with pilots and other air medical and EMS transport providers to monitor weather and navigational aids for safe completion of patient transfers. The Specialist will oversee ambulance movement as well as aircraft movement per FAA regulations under Part 135 operations. In addition, the Specialist will coordinate all incoming emergency ambulances and aircraft notifications to appropriate parties within the Hershey Medical Center...
