CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Verifies the patient’s ID by checking their name and date of birth. Corroborates patient's clinical history and ensures information is documented and available for use. Interviews patients before a procedure and documents all relevant information. Ensures that the attending radiologist obtains the proper informed consent. Prepares the patient for procedures to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. Notifies appropriate person of any change(s) in patients’ status.
