Special Education Teacher

Job Description Job Description New Leader Academy seeks a creative and energetic Special Education Teacher to join our unique research-based therapeutic day school dedicated to the highest levels of achievement for children with special needs. This role requires a teacher who will be an integral part of implementing our existing dynamic movement-based learning model which includes movement-based learning. Our educational approach focuses on maximum achievement for each child in many different areas as well as academic achievement, but our approach also focuses on the sensory needs of children, music, rhythm, audio, and the use of highly specialized digital technology for learning and to increase motivation. This is truly a unique learning environment not only for children but for the staff who will be working in our program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm, creativity, and ability to participate in the active program that we have set up for students.
