Position Summary This role supports an alternative instructional program serving students with diverse academic and behavioral needs. The Special Education Teacher provides specialized instruction, case management, IEP development, behavioral support, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Depending on district needs, responsibilities may align with roles such as Process Coordinator, Academic Evaluator, Case Manager, or Teacher of Record.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management — Serve as case manager for assigned students
IEP Development — Create, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
IEP Facilitation — Schedule and lead IEP meetings
