Spare Board Drivers are the service‑continuity backbone of the RideTransit’s on-demand EV operation: fully trained, fully qualified, and activated when a rostered driver can’t make a shift. It suits experienced drivers who want flexibility, meaningful on‑call work, and a first‑in‑line path to full‑time.

HOW THE SPARE BOARD WORKS

• You declare your availability windows in advance — your time outside them is yours
• When activated inside a declared window, you confirm within your tier’s response time (Tier 1: 15 minutes · Tier 2: 30–45 minutes) and report to the yard
• Every activation is a confirmed assignment: all time on duty is paid.
• Same training, same standards, same respect as Full‑Time Drivers — the only difference is the scheduling model
