Shift: typically, daylight 8-10 hour shifts with 3-11 rotation every 6 weeks

As a Sonographer, you will:

+ Perform Imaging Procedures: Conduct ultrasound procedures independently, using your judgment and initiative.
+ Assist with Invasive Procedures: Support physicians during invasive procedures, adhering to universal protocol standards.
+ Manage Exam Documentation: Ensure exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, and charges are accurately entered.
+ High-Level Disinfection: Handle disinfection of devices, supplies, and equipment as needed.
+ Communicate Effectively: Clearly explain procedures to patients, easing their fears and gaining their cooperation.
+ Patient Identification: Use two patient identifiers and follow universal protocol for accurate patient identification.
