ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

a. Receives and reviews requests for level II scans on patients

b. Explains exam to the patient taking into consideration physical and emotional needs

c. Reviews exam and collaborates with MFM specialist in a timely fashion and collegial way

d. Demonstrates excellent bedside manners

e. Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patient who is not only under physical and emotional stress. Must have knowledge in how to handle “Bad news to patients” and may have to attend specific courses or lectures in hospit...
