Sonar Technician - Surface

Amentum is seeking Electronics Technician Maintenance for MARMC Code 287 to provide technical services for ship and land-based site installations. The candidate will operate, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot, test, onboard maintenance training, assessment, inspection, grooming, and calibration of Navy surface combatant ship MK 32 Surface Vessel Torpedo Tubes (SVTT) and interfaces.

Job responsibilities:

+ Review, assess, maintain, and provide recommendations for revision and/or updates of system technical documentation.
+ Provide scheduling, coordination, and documentation for the MARMC technical assistance and assessment support process.
+ Write technical, assessment, and inspection reports, Technical Assistance Visit Reports (TAVRs), debriefs Material Assessment Forms (MAF), and trip reports.
+ Conduct oral debriefings to management and technical personnel.
