Solar Resident Engineer

Job Description

• Provide full-time on-site supervision of solar PV installation works including mounting structures, PV modules, inverters, transformers, cabling, and grid interconnection.
• Ensure EPC Contractor executes works in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, codes, and standards.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower, equipment deployment, and construction sequencing.
• Verify compliance with approved method statements, work permits, and construction schedules.
• Review and verify EPC Contractor’s shop drawings, installation procedures, and as‑built documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks for mechanical, electrical, and civil works related to solar PV systems.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue site instructions, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Witness factory acceptance tests (if required), site acceptance tests, and performance tests.
