Software Validation Engineer

CMC are supporting a defence-focused engineering programme (SC not required) and are looking for an experienced Software Validation Engineer to support a critical compliance phase.

An embedded C solution has been developed on a PIC18 microcontroller, and we now require an experienced engineer to review, validate, and assess the software against recognised safety standards.

This is a remote , milestone-driven contract with direct access to the technical lead and full documentation provided (source code, compiled data, architecture flow). The project will commence at the beginning of April .

What you’ll be doing:

• Reviewing embedded C code
• Assessing compliance against safety standards
• Producing a formal validation/reporting pack
• Supporting software sign-off in a regulated environment
