Software Engineering Intern

**Job Description Summary**
As an intern working on our Java desktop application, you will work on challenging projects to manipulate, display, find, transfer, and label medical images. The MIM platform uses techniques such as image deformation, image segmentation, and statistical analysis to solve the problems faced by today’s medical professionals. Additionally, the MIM platform uses automation to process and transfer medical data at just the right time for our customers.

**Job Description**

**What You'll Do:**

+ Write Java code in a large, longstanding, always evolving code base

+ Create UI in Java using Swing.

+ Documentcode, designspecifications,and cybersecurity threat models

+ Test code and write unit tests

+ Work closely with experienced software engineers, including a personal mentor

+ Learn about software engineering principles in an industry environment
