Python Developer - Singapore - Energy Trading - $150k

RJC is working a Python developer role for a global energy trading company based in Singapore. Working as part of the Front Office Development Team, they are looking for a delivery focussed developer to facilitate the LNG desk with the in-house pricing analytics platform and fundamental commodity modelling.

The role demands understanding of VaR and PnL, developing infrastructural components, and a good understanding of commodity market trading analytics.

The ideal Python Developer will have:

• Minimum 5+ years Python development experience
• Experience using and optimizing SQL and NoSQL based databases.
• Experience working within a trading environment (energy or commodities preferred - ideally LNG)
• Strong experience with distributed architecture and modern CI/CD practices (Docker, Kubernetes)
