Backend Developer (PHP / Symfony) - Russian speaking - Remote working - Based in either Spain/UK/Germany/France

My client is urgently looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join their team and help build a powerful, high-performance collaboration platform for the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using PHP (Symfony) with a focus on performance and reliability

- Develop and optimize applications handling big data (tens of terabytes)

- Design and implement new features while identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks

- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product designers, and QA engineers

- Optimize existing codebases and system architecture

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
