Software Engineer (Azure / Node.js) – Contract

Start: ASAP (must be free within 2 weeks)

End date: October 2026 (Strong possibility of extension based on delivery)

Location: Hybrid – Nottingham (up to 2 days per month on-site)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Storage and Azure Service Bus
• Contribute to event-driven and serverless architectures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps and product owners
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and design principles
• Support unit and integration testing and resolve defects
• Ensure solutions are secure, resilient and aligned to enterprise best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
• Travel to Nottingham client site up to 2 days per month <...
