Software Engineer - Ag & Trade

**Job Purpose and Impact**

+ The Software Engineer – Ag & Trade will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high quality software applications that support Cargill's Ag & Trade business. The ideal candidate is a hands-on full-stack engineer with strong Python backend expertise, React/React Native frontend experience, and a passion for building modern, AI-enabled applications. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, and fellow Engineers to deliver secure, reliable, and performant software solutions. The engineer will leverage modern development practices, AI-assisted development tools, and cloud-native technologies to accelerate delivery while maintaining high engineering standards. The role also participates actively in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
