DocEng organization is looking for an experienced Software Development Manager (+10 years of experience as Software Development Manager).
As a member of the Information Development organization, the Development Manager takes an active role in the definition and evolution of Development practices and procedures.
The Document Engineering Tools are used by User Assistance (UA) Information Developers (technical writers) to perform their daily task of creating, maintaining and delivering product documentation.
The Development Manager responsibilities include:
- Managing Team of developers to:
- Help and support developers during implementations
- Career path definition
- Day to day tracking (no micromanagement)
- Manage QA engineers assigned to his/her team
- Provide Technical Support to developers
- Work with Architects to define architecture designs
